Your Name - Your Name, or Kimi No Na Wa is Makoto Shinkai's second most recent movie, the story revolves around a pair of 2 teenagers, Mitsuha Miyumizu and Taki Tachibana, 2 17 year olds who have never met before yet for some reason they begin to swap bodies with one another, and they leave reports on each other's phones in order for the other to know what happened the previous day, both to protect their personal lives and so that they can work together in order to figure why they are swapping bodies. However, overtime, they learn to appreciate and enjoy what the other has and ultimately, they grow to respect each other as people. Eventually, the body swapping stops so they out on a journey to find one another.

What makes the movie Your Name such an amazing movie is that the movie itself is phenomenally beautiful it is, this is because of how flawless the animation is. Shinkai's iconic hyper-detailed background is front and center in Your Name, the lighting and design of the environment is probably the best thing about the movie, this is because of how much detail and care was put into the animation and backgrounds, but even the characters themselves were designed so well that it doesn't even seem like the characters were drawn onto the background, which is easily the most impressive aspect of Your Name.

However, Your Name would not have a similar emotional impact if it did not have the music, which was all composed by a band called RADWIMPS, creating more emotion thanks to the phenomenal soundtrack of the movie.
